Osei Allen
Under-Secretary-General of General Assemblies
Wah gwan, brethren (that’s Jamaican patois for What’s up, guys!)! My name is Osei Allen, and I am pleased to be your USG for General Assemblies at our first ever 305MUN! As a rising sophomore at University of Miami, I’m currently pursuing majors in Psychology and Political Science on the pre-law track, with minors in Law and Politics and Music/Cello Performance. I was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica (hence the Jamaican greeting) and raised in Naples, Florida, and I have been involved with MUN as a primarily GA delegate and chair since my freshman year of high school. Outside of MUN, I mentor local high school students as part of UMiami’s Inspire U Academy, work in the PRIDE (Psychology of Racism, Identity, Diversity and Equity) Lab as a Research Assistant, and I’m a cellist for the University’s own Frost Symphony Orchestra. In my free time, I love playing pickup basketball, riding my bike around campus, and, you guessed it, enjoying some fantastic Jamaican food. I’m super excited to contribute to the planning of a style of MUN as engaging as GA, and I look forward to facilitating a good time for all GA delegates at the one and only 305MUN!
