The Executives
Elliot Rose
Secretary-General
Elliot Rose (he/him) is a second year student from Apopka, Florida at the University of Miami. He’s majoring in public health with minors in ecosystem science and policy, health management policy, and public administration. In the last 305MUN, he was the AC for the DISEC general assembly. Elliot also served as a chair for the “TulipMania” crisis committee at the University of Miami’s high school conference, the Miami International Conference for the Simulation of the United Nations (MICSUN). Elliot is a member of the University of Miami Model United Nations Travel Team and frequently competes on the collegiate circuit.
Outside of MUN, Elliot is a member of the UMiami ECOAgency as well as the club lacrosse team. He’s a huge Boston sports fans and loves to play basketball, listen to music, and play video games during his free time. He spends his summers working as a camp counselor in the wilderness of North Florida.

Maya Bielawski
Director-General
Maya Bielawski (she/her) is a fourth year student from Long Island, New York at the University of Miami. She is double majoring in international studies and political science. At the last 305MUN, she served as the chair for “Shifting Sands: The Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund 2023.” Maya also served as a chair for the “Fast Fashion Mayhem” committee at the University of Miami’s high school conference, the Miami International Conference for the Simulation of the United Nations (MICSUN). Additionally, she chaired two committees at the Miami Dade Model United Nations: the World Food Program and the United Nations Security Council. Maya is an active member of the UMiami MUN’s Travel Team.
Outside of MUN, Maya is on the executive board for the Student Government Senate. She works at the University of Miami School of Law within the International Law department. This past summer, Maya was an intern for the Honorable Judge David Reilly.

Zak Djahed
Under-Secretary-General of General Assembly Committees
Zak Djahed (he/him) is a sophomore student from Miami Beach, Florida (not South Beach). He is a double major in Computer Science - Data Science and Mathematics - Probability and Statistics. He has 6 years of both chairing and delegate experience in Model UN, staffing the 305MUN I Ad Hoc committee, serving as the Director for the MICSUN Mario Committee and the co-chair for the MDMUN Security Council.
Outside of Model UN, Zak has interned at a quantitative trading firm and been involved in campus through the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Developers Student Club, the Data Analytics Association, and the Association of Commuter Students.
Within the little free time he has, you can find Zak weightlifting, watching/listening to some random esoteric film/album, playing guitar, or passionately debating the Heat’s playoff prospects this year (usually falsely predicting we’ll win it all). Camila Sanchez-Perez
Under-Secretary-General of Crisis and Specialized Committees
Camila Sanchez-Perez (she/her) is a Miami native in her second year at the University of Miami. She is majoring in Global Health Studies and Sociology, with minors in Geography and Public Health. Although she has participated in Model UN since her senior year of high school, this 305MUN will be the first conference she helps to staff, but she looks forward to helping staff more in the future.
Outside of MUN, Camila is the Public Service Announcement Director for the University of Miami’s campus radio station, WVUM, as well as a research assistant in the School of Nursing and Health Studies at the Center for HIV And Research in Mental Health (CHARM). She is also the Director of Local Service Opportunities for Project Public Health, a student organization on campus that works together with local non-profits to support their health-related goals and missions.

Arthur Frayzond (he/him) is a sophomore studying Finance and Business Analytics with a minor in Political Science. Originally from Fort Worth, Arthur has always been driven to the fields of politics and diplomacy due to his upbringing as a son of immigrants. Though his high school didn’t have a MUN team, Arthur immediately joined the team at UM upon starting college, achieving a Verbal Commendation at his first ever conference, SUNMUN. Having co-chaired and staffed multiple conferences, he is driven to exercise his organizational and communicative skills as USG Logistics to support the second 305MUN Conference.
Outside of MUN, Arthur is involved in TAMID Consulting Group on campus as an analyst, as well as being a Team Leader for the MGT100 course for freshman. He is also involved in Delta Sigma Pi, a business fraternity on campus. In his free time, Arthur loves to explore the city through exposure to new food. He also loves taking spontaneous strolls and relaxing on the beach with fellow ‘Canes.

Arthur Frayzond
Under-Secretary-General of Logistics
Diego Balda (he/him) is a third-year at the University of Miami, double-majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Physics, on the Pre-Medical Track. He is originally from Caracas, Venezuela and now lives in Miami. He has been a part of MUN for eight years, and aside from frequently competing in the circuit, his previous experience includes running several committees, including 305MUN I’s “(Drug) Lord Have Mercy: UNODC, 2023”, and MICSUN XI’s “Fast Fashion Mayhem: ILO, 2024”. He is also very excited to be running “Eye of the Thai-Ger: ASEAN, 2012”, for this iteration of 305MUN!
Outside of MUN, Diego spends his time as a Research Assistant for UM’s School of Nursing and Health Studies, participating in different College of Engineering organizations, and drinking an absurd amount of boba tea. In his free time, Diego enjoys exploring local restaurants, going on little beach adventures, and promoting White Lotus.

Jackson Kuster
Under-Secretary-General of Finance
Jackson Kuster (he/him) is a second-year in the University of Miami’s Herbert Business School majoring in Economics on the Political Economy Track with a minor in International Business. Originally from Point Pleasant, New Jersey, Jackson grew up visiting South Florida frequently and is proud to call Miami his adopted home! Jackson started Model UN at the beginning of his freshman yearand has enjoyed every moment of it! He represented UM’s MUN team at the University of Florida’s SUNMUN conference and has chaired multiple committees at UM’s own MICSUN conference and at Florida Foundations for Leaderships’s MDMUN conference.
Outside of Model UN, Jackson is heavily involved on campus being an Executive Board Member of Get Out The Vote, along with being an active member of the Cinematic Arts Commission and Hurricane Productions. Jackson also works part-time as a Sales Representative for The Miami Hurricane Newspaper.

Valerie Orozco
Under-Secretary-General of Outreach
Valerie Orozco (she/her) is a second-year student majoring in Finance and Global Business with a minor in Business Analytics. She hails from Naples, Florida, and adores every aspect of being a Florida native. Since her freshman year of high school, she has been actively involved in Model United Nations, competing at both the high school and collegiate levels. Additionally, she has previously served as a chair for the University of Miami’s high school conference of MICSUN.
Beyond her commitments to Model UN, Valerie is a licensed real estate agent and plays an active role in the business school at the University of Miami. She serves as the team leader for the freshman development class and works as a teacher's assistant for Business Analytics. In her leisure time, Valerie enjoys spending days at the beach and on boats with friends.
